yay!
2nd day of freedom
what have i done?
- i cleaned my room - pulled out all the furniture and cleaned under them =D
- cleaned all the shelves of the kitchen
what am i going to do?
- clean more of the kitchen (haha!)
- send my guitar for repair/ servicing whatever you call it
- a ton of admin
- pack pack pack
- go ice skating
- hang out with people & watch a musical
- farewell party
and then it's greece!
and then it's singapore!
and then it's camp!

i am in the school library.
no. i am not a desperate workaholic who sleeps in the library

therefore the lights of my house went out at 7pm.
and not just my house... the whole street too... no traffic lights, streetlamps nothing.

4 DOWN: to eat
2 write till hand falls off papers, 1 'ugh' paper, 1 'ugh ugh' paper and i've one to go. thankfully it's next week cos i haven't prepared for it at all (lol had to search for the lecture slides today) that said. i'm slacking today for a bit... and my friend sent me this
An old Cherokee Indian grandfather was talking to his grandson. He said, "I want to tell you about a struggle. There is a war going on inside me. It is a war that is in all of mankind. It is the war of two wolves. One wolf is full of hate, anger, jealousy, greed and selfishness. The other wolf is full of love, joy, compassion and faith."

The Grandfather looked at his grandson and said..........
"The One You Feed."

that reminded me of 'being a Christian' actually.
it's all about the 'thing' we feed on.
Jesus, the Truth of our salvation and the forgiveness of God and His blessings?
or the futility of the world and our attempts to salvage what we can.

that said. I HAVE NOT ENOUGH TIME!!!!! *wail*
cos of 2 reasons
1. anime/ manga
2. stupid mistake
elaboration:
1. i nicely planned out my schedule and was on-time/ ahead of it... so i slowed down the working pace and got myself hooked on manga/ anime after the first paper when i was chilling out. therefore i cover 1 topic a day very slowly - and remember about half of it (vs most of it if i put in some attention)
2. i thought my health and clinical module was tested as 'pick 3 qu out of 9'... probably because all the previous years had that format. but NO. this year it's 'pick at least 1 question from section A and 1 from section B'. guess what? i studied almost all of section A and only 2 of 9 of section B. so there went my schedule.
aaah. ohwell. exam's in God's hands
and He saved me from being shocked in the exam (lol.) cos i was contemplating studying more of the section B stuff but thinking that i'd covered about half the syllabus already and was safe. so He sent a friend and an msn conversation and a 'you haven't been checking your email have you -.-'

7 years short
And friends are friends forever

In the Father's hands we know
That a lifetime's not too long
To live as friends
on sunday (3rd May)... i met gillian.
after 7 years (and loss of contact)... after just one meeting
talk about amazing? 0_o
7 years ago i accepted Christ proper (all the sunday school prayers don't count - didn't know what i was doing then). 7 years ago i was at the peak of depression and suicidal. strangely enough, we wrote letters to each other (though she's more than 7 years older than me - haha cannot reveal age ya). even stranger is the fact that i talked about my feelings in the letters - and she was kind of like a 大姐, one of the people who were factors in keeping me alive.
i don't believe in coincidences. only God-incidences =)
